Happy Holidays Everyone!

We have been busy little Santa helpers here at NetGeos and in the sprit of the holiday we are making one of our weapon models, from our soon to be release content pack, free to the Torque community. To get it please surf over to our store at www.netgeos.com/ostore/ and click on the FREE M16a1 icon.

You will need to create an account and in order for this to be free you will need to select "Check or Money Order" as the payment type. Don't worry this is not a hoax it just my way of getting you to help test our e-store;)

Oh and BTW our new forum is up and running. Please provide us feedback at www.ModMaker.net

Cheers for now,

Hey Mike, thanks, I'll have to check it out. The one thing I would note, as I've been following your .plans is that there are a number of us that use this resource or something similar:

www.garagegames.com/index.php?sec=mg&mod=resource&page=view&qid=9846

Since your dts models are precompiled we would be unable to use these models because to use this first person/third person setup you actually have two variations of the same model with different LODs compiled into a single dts--one with hands and one without. Just thought I'd mention it, because your work looks great but without the model source there would be some of us that would probably not take advantage of them.

@Alan, Thanks for the feedback. We will be selling the sorce files seperately we just don't have the pricing down yet. Would it be ok if I contact you directly to get your input?

Very nice, but it's not an A1, it's an A2. :)

Definitively right. Both on model aspect and weapon version.

You should try to document yourself a bit... or ask to people with a thorough knowledge of the field.

@Mike:
I have some trouble downloading it.
All working good (account creation, confirmation etc.) until I click on donwload link,
then the browser say:
...connecting to http://www.netgeos.com/ostore/download.php?order=56&id=36

it took from 10 min to 20 min to get file, wich is a 0 kb zip named m16a1.zip. There is nothing inside :-(.

I tried donwloading using Firefox, Opera and IE 6, and I get always a void zip.

Maybe banwidth problem due a lot of downloads ?

Another issue when I get to my account and look on the order I made the download link is no more a link just text, it seems the link expired ( but he said expires on 27/12/2006).

Hope this feedback help you.

Homever it's a great job looking on screenshots, and thank you to made it free available.

Had to sign up to download the free m16a1. Other than that. It's nice.
