concept character in a possible TBG game

It's been great working behind the scenes here at GarageGames as an Art intern. They have me (Joshua Taylor) and the other art interns working on all sorts of things. Lately Ive been delving into TGB creating the look of a possible game. I have been pleasantly surprised by the things that we the interns have had an opportunity to work on, and hearing about all the other things GarageGames has planned has been exciting.

Nice artwork. It definately has a very unique style.

Might I offer a suggestion....the character's left leg is easily visible and detail is provided for the viewer. The right leg is also visible, and appears to be identical in design. As such, the detail provided(in the right leg) is unnecessary and can be slightly distracting to the image as a whole. I would suggest that by simply drawing the outline of the right leg(which is also furthest from the viewer) would provide excellent contrast to the hands and face, thus allowing the viewer's eyes to focus properly on the details of them. Here's an example:

Notice how the leg furthest from the viewer is nothing more than an outline, thus allowing the viewer to see the detail in the skirt, tassals and frays.

Just an idea...great image, can't wait to see more.

Thanks! Yes, It is difficult to look at the claw on the right with the detail of the leg in the background, I'll give the outline a try.
