Blog post
Hey people

Now I've established the fact that I'm making an Xcom/UFO style game I want to start referring to the project as it's propper title from now on. Thanks for all your kind comments on my first blog post aswell guys your all great.

Well we are still after a good Torque programmer but this isn't stopping the artwork. Here are some models I made using 3D World Studio and are now in Torque as .DIF files. Theres also an apartment building done, a tilable road and some tilable brick walls that are half collapsed. As it stands things are going ok, we have an SVN repository set up for the project and even though I'm lacking in the programming department I'll keep going - the worst thing I can do is stop probably plus I still need to learn Torque so its all good.

Still missing a website for the project but I don't really have enough done to warrent a site yet I think.

Well cheers guys.
Marcus

Looking slick. Good presentation, too.

Cheers James, James Bond is also the other artist working on this project and he's showing me the torque ropes so together we should be able to get something done half decent.

Cheers guys.

The buildings look amazing, can't wait to see what you will show next. Would you ever consider selling a urban building pack i know alot of people would put out the money on the level of detail you made in your buildings, but it just a idea but great work on the the buildings.

peace

Yeah I was thinking of doing an Urban style RTS pack lastnight funnily enough but I'd like to get alot more buildings done for my game rather than putting all my environmental assets up for sale, I just haven't done enough yet to consider it.

I have noticed on my work's PC monitor that the images are very dark....if people are seeing the same dark images let me know and I can update the screenshots to be abit light.

Cheers.

Awesome looking models, very clean and detailed. I hope the rest of your game turns out to be as polished as the work you have shown thus far.
