Being new to TSE, I found it frustrating to go from the great starter code in TGE to TSE, where there really is no GUI to switch between GUI Editor, World Editor, etc.

For those of you who haven't started with TSE, the choices you have beside my code are:
Standard Demo
1. Start "demo"
2. Click "Feature Walkthrough"
3. Press F11 to enter the world editor or F10 to enter the GUI editor

Terrain Water Demo
1. Start "terrain_water_demo"
2. Press F11 to enter the world editor or F10 to enter the GUI editor

I missed the one in tutorial.base, so I ported it over on top of the water demo. The water demo was the most plainly laid out without extras, that's why I chose it over the standard demo. Please check it out and let me know what you think!

Instructions:
1. Download the zip file
2. Unzip it to C:\Torque\tse\example or wherever you have TSE intalled
3. Compile TSE

Optional Instructions:
4. Type the following, or create a .bat file that contains the following: TSE_DEBUG.exe -game starter_water_demo

Ooooo! Very nice. I'm just getting going with TSE. Got everything compiled, but haven't actually done more than start the demo, so the timing of this is perfect for me. Thank you.

Ah, very cool resource, Teresa. Have you considered posting it up on TDN? I think a lot of people would find it very useful!

Thank you Teresa! *hug* I agree with Ben, looks like a very good starting point for those people who haven't gotten started with tse yet.

Sure I would love to put it up on TDN! You can find it here: http://tdn.garagegames.com/wiki/TSE_WorldBuilder

FYI there was a little bug where I forgot to change the link in init.cs to start_water_demo\ from terrain_water_demo\. If you're having trouble loading the world editor and you downloaded the code before this, check that file. Otherwise, I updated it on the link.

I can't seem to download the zip. What gives?

I would also like to download the zip. But it doesn't seem to exist anymore.
Any info?
