Ok. So after quite a bit of sketching I have come up with two player character concept which I liked, and thought fitted well. I have a base outline of what the races are all about and what their part in the story is. I still need to work on their backgrounds and causes, but these need to be devbeloped.

First up the Ur'tesk: Ur'tesk sketch
This biped race is tall, standing around 7ft tall. They have Large eyes with black outlines, thin pointed ears and a small, skull like nose which appears as a hole in the face. They Evolved in volcanoes and have been at war with the Rak-Pur for a long time. They are trying to wipe them out. They usually have symbolisms adorning their face or skin (some of which I am planning to draw up, after I have done all the racial sketches).

Next the Rak-Pur: Rak-Pur sketch
Another Biped race. They evolved in the Jungle which remains their habitat of choice. The average height of the Rak-Pur is 6ft and their tribal race has developed a taste for blood. Especially that of the Ur'tesk. Just as the Ur'tesk seek to destroy them, the Rak-Pur seek to wipe out the Ur'tesk. Their ways mean that alot of them will be found wearing armor, due to their warriors culture. Their race has a bucket jaw, large ears and a thick nose.

You don't have to welcome this suggestion, but no game is comeplete without a spider-like race. with 4 long legs that extend from the shoulders, and 2 normal ones, and 2 normal hands, but with claws.

Maxwell's right, I just finished bringing in a spider-like creature to my racing game.

And monkeys. Don't forget the monkeys.

Nah, then I'd just feel like I was stealing from free radical and their hopeless obsession with Monkeys.
