Things are progressing nicely with the move over to TGEA, which means a completely new overhaul of the missions with more detail, characters, and gameplay. Survival Strike for TGE was more of a prototype, and a steep learning curve for me, whereas now TGEA is more serious and a step up in the right direction. It does seem like the norm, start with TGE - see if the engine is for you and then move over to TGEA, which I am sure you will agree is the best approach.
For now, a teaser screenshot of one of six futuristic characters in the game;

Until the next update, we should then have some in-game screenshots for you to drool over :)

Loch Ness monster isn't a rumor! A plesiosaur lives in Scotland.
@Julian
Great work.

@Mark - We're self funded now by creating Flash Games to pay for this kind of work and it keeps my Indie development hat on until at least we go into production, initial investment can only take you so far in development, the rest is either made up with countless hours that you put in yourself, use up any of your hard earned money and savings on a dream that may or may not become a reality, but you have to take the risk, else you will not know if it will work - and would you believe me when I say I managed to get an investor off eBay a few years back now, although I would imagine that it was pure luck or fate. Credit must go to the guys who have created the work like the above, as without them my goals and vision wouldn't become a reality. I just project manage, come up with the ideas, initial draft concepts and put all the things created together in the mission design, and do some of the programming - all part of being an Indie Developer (you learn the ropes, get involved in a mixed bag and come up with something remotely great - then get people that specialise in key areas to enhance on what you have created). On top of that I do manage the budgets and teams involved in whatever project is going on at the time which is key to the success of a project - a good team that work for you like your own in house team would. Do you really want your team to stay volunteer based? Why not put a small plan together and see if you can secure stage 1 investment, then when you have a prototype ready you can then go for stage 2 to see you through to completion?
@Matt - cheers - plenty of things undiscovered in the world that go un-noticed until uncovered. So what will be next?

@Matt, fine than can we settle on it's a myth like North Dakota?
