After a long time, things have finally come together enough where I can announce that Big Bad Robot (my 3rd game company) is officially is in business. This Monday (2nd October 2006) marks the first time that all 3 of us are working full time as a team on our projects. The 3 of us being:
Me, Terence - programming, production, game design
Jin - concept, characters, texturing
Rus - 3d, technical art, level design
It's going to be great because all of us have had commercial game development experience, and it will be so good to be able to work in a team that knows what we want to do, how to do it and when to do it.
Our current project called Honor and Money has been in pre-production for a while, and we have built a technical prototype using Torque to great success. Pushing this forward in the next few months is our current plan. We will give you sneak peeks in the future of the game, but for now to keep things exciting I have included concept art for on one of the 'monsters' we are doing.

Wrecking Ball is one of the end of level monsters we are planning. Of course he will be 3x bigger than a player and chock full of special attacks. We are hard at working on refining game play and following a interative approach with fast game builds allow us to play what we do as soon as possible.
One of my initial concerns though is that with TGE 1.5 coming along soon, how much of our work needs to be ported over from our current Engine built on top of TGE 1.4. From what I read the some of features in TGE 1.5 might prove useful, especially the terrains.
All that being said, I can pretty much say that I am extremely excited getting things going and looking forward to our future.

As I understand, you have to climb that huge thing and strike its weak point on top of this head? ;)
Its not easy being the lone programmer on a team for a full-blown project, but you seem up to it. Good luck!
