Maya2DTS FAQs are underway, online docs have a couple of a new basic tutorials, and dtsUtility.mel gets a minor update.
The big accomplishment for me this week is getting a good start on the Maya2DTS FAQs. It's a pretty massive page that will probably get larger as time goes on. Head on over to the Maya2DTS FAQ thread in the Tools forum to post suggestions on what questions should be included in the FAQs.

I've also added a couple of really basic tutorials on using transparent materials and two-sided materials with the Maya2DTS exporter. They're nothing fancy, but they do walk through the basic steps of using those two features.

Finally, dtsUtility.mel gets a minor update. It's mostly general cleanup of the script and the squashing of a couple of tiny little bugs (not really major, but they were annoying me). The latest version is in the Maya2DTS File Pack as well as on the Tools section of my site.

Great job!! I have heard good things about maya but never used it. There are a lot of people who do use maya so you are doing the GG community a great favor. Keep up the good work.

Seems to me that this documentation would be great to have hosted here at GG too.

I'm really glad you're working on this Danny, I'm a recent Max to Maya convert, and I couldn't be happier. I want to give these tools a try as soon as I can. Which may not be all that soon, but the desire is there :)
