I am your father....
Ok another progress report from me and when i say progress i mean progress. This must be my best job ever although I shouldn't take all the credit because my girlfriend sure as hell deserves half of it if not more.

5 days ago our son was born and man he is great (or at least we think he is, it's a parent thing I guess). Currently I'm still debating if I should first teach him how to work with MAX or with PS, maybe I should start with the talking, walking and using bathroom first??? SO many decisions, so much responsibility and so very, very little sleep....

Here are some pics I made from him 2 day's. Notice the green RETRO outfit he will look so hot on the annual kiddie DISCO party.

Buzzkillbus : congratulations !! :)
And you're wrong : your wife deserves 99.9% of the cheers, 'cause that baby is too cute to have anything to do with your work ;)
If she'd let you do more, it would have looked like some weird, convoluted contraption using anti grav tech as its locomotion system 8p
Good job !!

Congratulations Pascal! Nothing like being a new Dad! My two boys are now 16 and 18. Still remember the day they were born. Believe me...you will remember it forever.

Very cute. Congrats man! Welcome to the wonderful world of bodily fluids. :o)

Craig Ball   (Jan 05, 2005 at 06:50 GMT)
Congrats to both of you.

Eek, toilet training *shudder*. Wait until he 'misses' and you get nice footprints around the house, or he flushes two toilet rolls down the toilet and floods it. *shudder*. Been there, done that!

Kids are a great tonic to life, you are going to have loads of fun. Ah, who needs sleep anyway.

David Dougher   (Jan 05, 2005 at 11:54 GMT)
Until he has enough coordination to push just one key and not button mash, I would go with the whole, walking, talking, and toilet thing. Still I found that an old gamepad (minus the cord) is a great playtoy. Bright colors, interesting shapes and a little drool doesn't hurt it much, (I know I drool when I play...)

Congrats.

Good advice for a happy, inquisitive child. Lots of hugs, holding and playing - even when they are upset and crying (This applies to the wife too ;) ). Non-restrictive clothing so they can move their limbs freely. Minimal outdoors time this winter (bundled up for the cold stifles movement.) Bright colors and unusual shapes that they can touch hold and put in their mouth. Avoid TV and especially flashy commercials - they stifle learning.

Laugh a LOT. Even when they break something you care about.

congrats pal!
