pay the $4/month for "real" hosting, and use something like .NET Nuke or the other portal solutions.
at a minimum, you will be taken slightly more seriously if your page isnt parked at freewebs.com

And Jason is right about your site... if you want to try and look like pros, you need a good site and a spell checker.

if i was running a game studio, then i would have something sexy up.
right now, I am in the process of setting up a non-profit. www.cwite.org. and no, there isnt much there, but right now i am strictly dealing with the IRS, and the information they need is there.
know your audience, and thereby know what you need invested in a website.
once i get approval by the IRS, I will be spending 1k or so on website development. but until then, there is no reason to go overboard. I spent aprox 2 hours on that site so far.

the portal I use is .NET Nuke. i like it, though i havent tried others so i dont know what it compares to.
I also have a domain name setup through godaddy.com, and because of that they give me a few free email addresses and email redirects, which also helps improve your professional image.
I also have a fax setup thru godaddy, though i found that if you want a fax, myfax.com is better/cheaper (but for you, you dont need a fax for your game studio i think)
