Well...it's been a busy few months, and after being 3 months late from our due date, we've finally, basically, finished our game design document. For anyone who is interested, you can view it at http://ekosoftco.uni.cc under games link. It does still have some things to be finished in it, and like a retard i probably forgot to take out some confidential stuff, but all well. let me know what you think if you read it, and if it seems we're missing anything. Some things it does not explain in depth, becuase the equations explain alot of the process in the document, and I took those out on purpose.

Our next step is the technical document. We're going to start working into detail on how everything is going to be scripted. Once that is done, its graphics time, and an assload of it.

We have a long road ahead of us, but we're slowly and steadily on our way! :)

That's a very interesting read. I didn't finish it but I'd like to take a closer look at it when I get more time.

Would you mind if I "borrow" the format? It has a nice organization to it.

You can go ahead, i was going to let people use it as an example as well, because there really isnt a good mmorpg design doc template. Just to let anyone know, there are plenty of other things we can and probably will add in the future to get more into detail, but, at the moment it gives a plain overview of what the game will do, and how it works to an extent.
Again, i dont mind anyone using our document as a template. But please just remember, they arn't your ideas. And i do suggest not to follow it EXACTLY as i have done so, because you really need to tailor your document to how/what your game is. If that makes any sense.

For the time being, we have removed the game doc. There are a few updates we are going to do. We may post it back up soon.
