Use the Torque Gaming Engine to produce my own 3D game. This requires mastering not only the Torque Gaming Engine itself, but also a suitable 3D package, probably 3DS Max, Maya or XSI.
Up until a couple of years ago I half-owned a company which developed real-time embedded systems. These systems included reel and video-based gaming machines and data collection systems for extracting associated information from them on-line. As we developed more video-based machines I got involved in developing video content using Photoshop, Illustrator and 3DS Max (for animated sequences). I decided to sell my half of the company and concentrate on studying for a BSc. Hons. degree in Computing and Mathematics, which I am close to finishing. This degree has refreshed my mathematical abilities and given me a good grounding in object oriented programming. I now intend to purchase a suitable 3D animation package (3DS max, Maya or XSI) and study model making etc., whilst in tandem developing a game with the TGE.
