While on the quest to find and play at least 10% (don't ask) of games made on TGE, I found a hidden chest of nooses..
I am sure most of you have already seen it while a million others haven't. Also, why can't other reviews on other (majority) of the sites be this honest and funny? Is it the dreaded 'empty ADS space' the editors fear? If I ever release a game in this life I want the reviewer to be brutally honest (and funny if possible) with it because, to be honest, I find Indie games reviews lacking in the 'brutal' area.
That's pretty much it folks. Sorry, no hot screenshots, moolah making content packs or a kick ass game ideas for my non-existent MMORPG available at this moment. I am doing 'research' (read = stuck) on various random ideas and designs like a thousand other developers. This research helps me keep my mind off of the important things like.. learning how to program in basic.. learn how to learn the user-friendly interface of Blender.. searching for free TGE tutorials which don't come in books.. searching for resources then getting devastated after learning how much code needs to be modified to add the free resource which in turn leads you to bother the free resource provider with.. ahh hell, you get the point.

Hehe Just "Tighten up the graphics" and AI slap it on the Wii and mostly likely have a contender to Duck Hunt.

Don't laugh too hard though, UDH is coming to Nintendo Wii in August (see www.detn8games.com). Not many games that have started on Torque can claim that, to say nothing of the huge sales the developer saw selling this game in Wal-Marts across the country.

UDH has surprisingly good graphics with a good level design (for the kind of game it is). I have only played the demo for like 20 mins, but it's hard to tell if it's really a TGE engine because designers have done a good job with level design, textures.. etc. Gameplay on the other hand is even more painful than peeling the skin off your face with a blunt knife. Terrible interface (typical in TGE based games) and lack of documentation (another thing common in TGE based stuff.. :P) doesn't help either.

James... didn't I have you and Eli "review" this game during your internship. All that could be heard on our side of the GG offices were Duck calls.

LOL best review I've ever seen! I can only hope (if I ever finish) my game gets a such a review
I agree. This is a great review - it tells you how to make it better. However I was watching it, thinking "man this game looks technically great" the character anims look good too. I was impressed by the game's depth too. Good luck to the author(s) and you got a Gametrailer review - nice!
I'm sure duck hunters will love this game because of the effort you made to satisfy their passion.
