The 'odd' change of the mind, or is it?

Staying up all night playing games, completely screwing up my schedule and then trying to get my lazy arse out of bed just to get to work 12 at noon was commonplace for me. There was nothing strange to me about waiting infront of EBGames, in the morning, piled in warm clothes, with my face dug inside of my jacket, patiently awaiting the store to open, with fellow Halo 2, Gears of War and Nintendo Wii anticipators.

However, lately that seems to change yet remained the same. Despite the fact I hated school, and learning in general, there I was, at 11:00 AM on March 11th, sitting in my car, thinking about walking my $11.95 newest posession into my house number 117, where I would arrive at 12:11 to begin - reading?

Yes, instead of camping outside in the cold for EBGames to open, I camped out in a warm-winter weather car, with the windows down, infront of Borders Books. What in the hell has happened?

The book I got was The Secret Architecture of our Nation's Capital, as well as Forever Odd. I'm completely facinated about the world - suddenly. There was so much more to it than we, people, are conditioned to believe, either by music, television, science, school and more. It's like we live in a world of magic, and we are not even aware of it. No WONDER the ancients were so into this whole thing, because there was truth behind every inch of it.

Whoa - Mark, what the hell are you talking about? Well, after doing alot of research, and alot of book buying, video watching and information recieving, the bland, materialistic world I once thought I was a part of, is something far beyond what I figured. Now I'm thinking to myself - what do zodiac symbols have to do with Washington D.C.? Why are our products filled with zodiac symbology? Do these symbols really call on some other-worldly forces and, well, 'bless' whatever it is? What's going on here?
The mystery of 'god' just blew wide open, and it appears it's true, that he IS beyond human comprehension, and not just some guy twiddling nobs and pressing buttons in his office.

Regardless, this sudden change of mind really confuses me. On my way driving to Borders, some lady looked at me and did the 'Father Son and Holy Spirit' gesture. THAT really freaked me out. What - the frick is going on? Am I just on the brink of insanity, or is this really happening? As soon as you begin the Tetris-fall into your proper slot in life, you complete the line, and POOF, the wall breaks down. You begin to understand things, you begin to notice things, you begin to really tune in to what's really going on behind the curtains, this is something I begged for, to whoever was listening, and it appears I got my wish - finally.

Sure this may sound absolutely bizarre to some, but to me, this does not even sound like ME speaking. So I'm on the same boat as you, trust me. I'm also somewhat tired, that could be another reason.

Whatever is going on, I'm excited. It's suspenseful! What on earth will the cosmos throw at me next?

Instead of being afraid of my short time here on Earth, I laugh at it, infact I laugh at everything now. Seeing people bustling around, needing to get to work on time, taking things SO gosh darn seriously, like the universe depends on it, absolutely hilarious - Because something inside tells me there is a much bigger picture to everything that we can see, we can only see a picture within the frame, little do we know, there is an infinity of blank white sheets on a massive wall, waiting to be painted on, soon after the picture we paint on this earth becomes frail and eventually dissipates.

Natural selection? Sure, but first we must find out what 'natural' really is.
