While working on the childrens game I think I'm going to talk a little bit about a game I have been thinking about for a while now. I was wondering what it would be like to have a videogame series. Cheap $10.00 - 10 level packages with a storyline, like something out of a T.V. show series like, Alias, 24, or Mission: Impossible.

I have always been a fan of the Mission Impossible movies, and with the new one coming out I'm pumped for some Ethan Hunt action. I really enjoyed Mission:Impossible for the Nintendo 64 when it came out. It was one of the first few games that simulated a fancy get-together from the movie, with civilians in dressy outfits, and if you did something that would raise attention they would react the way you may expect them to. Sadly the game suffered from some ratings, but I think it was a fantastic game and was really a stepping stone for some games we see today.

Now I'm thinking of this game, where you pay very little to play it because each package will be about 10 levels each, with a heavy emphasis on the story. I think Dreamfall is an example of how a storyline can make a game a huge success even if the gameplay is not so great.

I want to create something close to Mission: Impossible. I'm not sure if I can use IMF as the title (Impossible Mission Force), so I decided for now, Impossible Mission Agency. Which takes place a bit into the future where the CIA has recognized the IMF's success stories, and has developed them into a secret governmental agency tasked to complete the impossible.

I feel that once the game has a ton of expansions (series), and possibly enough funding, the people who may be working on the game could seek a console release - only the game's visuals and mechanics are enhanced to it's fullest potential. The amount of content would be insane! I think this may be a good idea. As long as the price is low, around $10 I would say, people could really enjoy something like this and become possible fans of the videogame series.

This idea has some great potential!
Sorry if my scentences are screwed up, I'm a bad writer.

Yeah, I had an idea for a serial game, but I haven't worked on it in awhile cause of school and other stuff. My idea was more like smaller hour long chapters that were around $3-$4 a piece, with the first chapter being free. Have to get that all restarted.

Also i'm definintly looking forward to the next Mission Impossible movie, I didn't really like the first two, but this one's written and directed by J.J. Abrams who did Lost so, i'm there.

I'd say don't name it the Impossible Mission Agency, it sounds too close. Try to come up with something more original. There have been dozens of stories involving government agents working at an agency with a 3 word name, but that sounds a bit to close to something else. Try to give it your own unique spin. As long as there's a really evil bad guy with a foreign accent, and a plot involving a mole, it'll be decent.
