Here is a code resource I put together for flying vehicles,
Now there is no limit to speed
I've had one of my own models up to a million maneuvering force and it doesn't crash my game
Other than my fix my scripts are completly stock.
Here is the link

It did however get so fast that the particles were spawning off to slow so it looked like you were slowing down.
that was really cool to watch.

So I'm trying to figure out How to limit the Max speed.
I was looking around on the Net, and most of the equations you can find take in acount more
than just the thrust (maneuveringforce) and drag like whatd in the stock FlyingVehicle.cc.
Most of these guys take in account for wheights, torque on the engines,
and a whole bunch of stuff to get the max speed.
--but would that be advisable in a game?

I might have to look at it.
