Blog post
Greetings GG community!

My name is Robert Lee and I'm the project leader of an MMORPG in development called Etherea: Dark Genesis. The game has been in development for over a year now and we have a strong team of game lovers creating the game. The game is Fantasy/Mythical based and is being created in the Torque Game Engine, we have bought TSE but will not be converting the game until after we launch for various reasons.

A unique thing about the game is that it is non-profit. No one on the team is being paid to work on the game and no one will be. The plan is to launch the game as a free download with a five dollar a month fee which will go towards the bettering of the game, advertisements, servers, etc.

We are shooting for having a content filled Alpha by Christmas followed shortly by our Beta in early 2007 with a Q2 2007 launch. There will be screenshots up of the game in the next month or so and to anyone interested in the game you can sign up for the newsletter or even join the community forums at our main site of www.etherea-dg.com

Below you'll find shots of a few of the models we have made for the game. As an indie group we are always looking for more people to join our team in the area of Concept Artists, Modelers, Animators, and Texturists. If you wish to join and help out please email me at Vesuvius@etherea-dg.com Any modelers that wish to model buildings need to use Quark or be able to put their models in .dif

Thank you for your time and enjoy the model shots!

Fantastic style... if the game is as good as the art you'll do really well.

great stuff right here

I hope you plan to use TSE, it would make your models look fantastic in such a nicely detailed world

Or TAT I should say.. god that's gonna take some getting used to..

These models are all nicely done, very professional.

EDIT: Nice hair-texture on the lion creature.

Thanks for the great compliments, I'll pass them to the art team as they always love to hear that their work is appreciated.

I'll be sure to keep everyone updated in the future with another blog post when we have screenshots that we can show off.

Thanks!

Love the weapons.. weapons always seem to have the same look but yours have a sort of imperfect.. perfect... look.. for lack of better phrasology. :P
