Very nice, keep it coming man. Big fan of PA settings so this is awesome in my books.

I'm more impressed everytime you post . Great stuff.

This is definitely the most promising game being developed with Torque to-date. I think this game will totally be wicked when it's released. I really enjoyed both videos 3 and 4. I loved the color in 3, good choice there.

How do you get it to run fast when there are so many DIFs loaded and each one has an interior? Is the engine drawing what's inside the buildings when you're outside or does it have culling?

Ya Illumina is looking better every post...its great workin with these guys too. The game has made SERIOUS improvements since the first time I played it and it was already a good game.

That guy is THE coolest looking armored character that I have seen for ANY game!!

Wow that model does look awesome. Without getting into specifics. Is Witness Digital affordable to us indie developers in general?

Unsung Zero   (Sep 14, 2005 at 13:46 GMT)
Ian, Your models are always solid. (At least the ones you share with us :] ) I'll check out the movies when I get home.

Will map1 have traffic lights and light posts?
If it's Post Apocalyptic, is there still a form of government?
If not, then the traffic lights / light posts probably shouldn't work, as noone would pay for them to stay lit.

Just minor things, I don't know why I even notice them :[

Blake Lowry   (Sep 14, 2005 at 17:55 GMT)
@ Michael: For the quality, yes Witness Digital is very affordable because they are based in China which naturally brings the cost down. They are however working from my concepts and model sheets so I am not sure how much the price would go up for them to do that as well. But all in all, very reasonable :)

Wow you guys, this work is very impressive. You are really striving to showcase the great power and potential of the Torque engine. I must make a special note for that character model, it is, to say the least, fantastic! Keep up the good work!

Steven Looi   (Sep 19, 2005 at 02:28 GMT)
