My job working on Torque
I mentioned in my last plan that I was contacted by a company that wanted someone who knew torque. Well I worked for them from home for a while and they asked me to come in to work for them full time for 3 weeks on a project, so thats what I've been doing for the past week. I can't really say much about the project, but they updated their web site with screenshots of it so without further adu...

wow, that's so cool!! check it out, that's torque!!!

I tried creating something like this years ago ("Virtual Portland"), but it was such a huge undertaking for just one person. I'd walk around downtown, methodically taking digital photos of every single intersection and building, getting blueprint photocopies of the city from city records, aquiring usgs aerial photos... the works. just too big a project though. it's very cool to see this actually done and with a much grander vision than my attempt -- you're lucky to be working on such a fresh project!
