Blog post
About 1 year ago I quit my job, sold my house, and moved to Bangkok, Thailand and started a software company: Novaleaf Software Co. Ltd.. In that time, the company has grown to 16 people, and we are actively recruiting for 5 more positions.

Our game division, Novaleaf Game Studios officially launched 2 months ago, and we are scheduled to release a beta of "Novaleaf Biology Wars" (our first commercial game) in the beginning of December.

Needless to say, we have ahd quite a bit of growth, and I've seen my job role transform from doing everything to being mostly management and technologist.

Over the last year, I've seen Novaleaf's technology shift further away from GG's offerings, so though I dont have anything to contribute to this community, I'll still stop by occasionally, indie is indie afterall :)

Okay everyone, happy deving, and perhaps we will meet at some future game conference :)

Good to hear from you Jason. Congrats on the success in Bangkok. Do you have any links to a website for your game?

Grad to see you are doing well !

It's too bad I didn't have a chance to see your game at TAM.

Just out of interest: In which direction is then your technology shifting? Any other engine?

And congrats for getting your company up in such a fast pace, awesome!

@anton: you can check out one of my developers blogs: Nick's Novaleaf xnanoob blog and look at the pictures from the TAM expo. But there isnt a page for the game yet, though we plan on getting that finished this week (before the beta)

@Aun, you have maybe been following xnanoob's blogs? :)

@Martin: we shifted to work with XNA directly, due mostly to the active community and technical resources available. Plus, I have been working on the architecture for our own engine (for in-house use) so gaining experience with XNA directly is needed towards this goal.
