Name Change
So I decided a while back I wanted to use my real name on GG, but didn't know I could change it. Then I did by accident last night! So now instead of 'RavenSlay3r' I'm 'Steven "Raven" Peterson'...

Verizon - Why can't they just WORK for me???
I have been having problems with Verizon DSL practically since the new-year. I requested my DSL that i've had since they started carrying the serevice to be moved to a different (existing) phone line in the house. Long-story-short: Due to a mistake on their part, this involved turning OFF the DSL for a month, which they didn't warn me about untill after it happened. Eventually they fixed everything.
So now DSL is propperly set up on line 'A'. During the outtage we had complementary dial-up lines setup on phone lines 'A' and 'B'. Then the bill comes. They billed us for the "complementary dial-up" on line 'B'.
Tuesday (3/7/06) Dad calls (i'm just living here for now), to get the billing mistake pertaining to line 'B' corrected. Within hours the verizon email accounts stop working. They call again. Just to give you a clue, we have the "verizon tech-support" && "customer-advocacy-team"'s #'s in speed-dial.
So this time they tell Dad that "there is a pending disconnect order on the DSL-service on line 'A'".. What?!?! Some idiot made another mistake and our DSL is slated to go off again today.
Well most of this post was written while on-hold with the Customer-Advocacy-Team, and things seem to be strightend out as their going to get. It's still proabable that I'm going to loose DSL-service for up to 24-hours though. Help! I've fallen down the rabbit-hole and landed in DS-HELL...

I have to do a whole blog on this at a later date. Suffice it to say it's in active-development and I'm really excited about it! In the mean time a big Thank-You to everyone who's been helping me with infinite-paitence, in the forums. I've really appreciated all the support.

I wish everything was done in fiber. I don't seem to get my choiice though...
It's really too bad AT&T got broken up, I hear they were a "good-company". Intrestingly, if you've ever ridden "A Spaceship Earth" in DisneyWorld (the globe in Epcot) you'll notice we've been about 2 years away from the final vision for the last 8 years or so... Wonder how things would have been different.....
