From AMPII to Torque
Not much to say at this point - simply converting my project from the AMPII engine which seems to have died midstride to Torque.

Right now I'm in the process of trying to find myself a manageable save system, or someone willing to code it for me relatively cheaply. Its not an overly complex system either. :P

Currently, I hope to have some sort of save system implemented this weekend, and will being the process of converting all my models, textures, etc to Torque. Then comes learning the world editor.

Things to purchase this weekend:
Torque Viewer
Cartography Shop
3d Game Programming All in One

Things to do:
Save system.

I looked at that myself, I've got it bookmarked even, thogh it is a slight bit over my head - I'm an intermediate Java coder at heart, but I'm going to see if I cant wrap my head around that article.

Thanks.

Saving and Loading with Torque

I've seen that as well. :)

See, I think the problem I'm having is that I'm still new to TGE, and new to C++, so while I understand that these write and load data to external locations, what I cant wrap my head around is how to implement it to write things such as player health, inventory, etc - and then reload it.

Is writing data like this out to a ScriptObject the way to go??
