this is the reason i chose torque to save me a lot of work
even if i still have a lot to do .....

the games have to split in category of doability
the game can be made only with scripts
or i have to recompile the engine to work

tank (atari 2600)
galaxian
starfox(n64)
space invaders

Well, sounds... uh... good i guess. Better get started, 50 is quite a lot. And good luck, you're going to need it.

Anybody seen Coolhand Luke? "I can eat fifty eggs..." Hehehe.

Good luck, sir, if you succeed you will at least be a VERY confident and diverse game developer! I'm sure the experience won't hurt you a bit.

Good luck remaking all that, StarCraft / Quake is not exactly small games.

I don't see the point to be honest. Sure, some of them may be useful programming exercises if you need to get upto speed, but writing 50 of them? I suspect you'll get bored long before you get to the end.

50 games? Should only take you a couple of days.

Sorry to hijack but the guy who did 24 games, link is busted. Anyone got an update?

@Sylvain - good luck in your challenge - I would go so far as suggesting this is your holy grail... enjoy the trip, but don't lose your mind along the way... ;-)

my goal is to create as many (complete) game as possible
at least it as to be complete

and for starcraft and quake

it is just the style that i want not the graphics or the story
its not a clone or a remake
a simple strategy game with 3-4 race wont be hard to make
