Hi,
I have set up a blog at
http://spaces.msn.com/phant0m360/blog/
it looks quite nice.
I think garagegames should have emoticons for their blogs *hint*
Well some news from the modelling section of our *cough* large *cough* company
We may have a modeller, our first modeller didn't reply to e-mails so I looked for another and we now have a modeller to do our catapult!
That's good news, this is good news too!
We now have the base (walls) for 3 castles and one is complete, minus AI and particle effects.
We are still waiting for the AI pack but can get a lot done whilst we are waiting. I have also started making amazing environments and im really getting into it, I just love the trees and streams together. Normally I like blowing up orcs or trees or streams but making them is really rewarding because it's an instant quality and 'looks' boost (and an instant performance hit).
If anyone out there knows about particle triggers please post an article on tdn.
So is it all good news?
No, one of our much loved levels freezes at load up and it's a big problem obviously so that'll have to be re-done.
Oh well, that's all for now, I just felt I hadn't blogged for a while and I thought id do another one because I felt like it
