Violetgames is in devlopment process of Subwars. Subwars is a RTS/FPS game based roughly on typical war strategy games.
Well this is my second .Plan my first one will still probably have more comments then this one :-)
However enuf of my lame .Plan posting and on with what im working on. Subwars is headed, funded and owned by Greg Cushing(Ohm) of Violetgames. Our mission is to put our first title in the hands of gamers with the need of a decent submarine game. We have started progress and here are some pictures of what I've been messing around with

That first shot of the models looks so cool. Keep the merchandising rights, and I'm sure you'll sell loads of them to people to play the game in their bath tubs!!

By looking at the models, I get the impression that you know a thing or two about submarines/naval ships. It's great to see someone focussing their passion in a healthy manner.

Cool!
Last sub game I played was 688 attack sub (I think that was the name).
And I remember switching to a funky view of the ocean floor.
Thank you for bringing back those memories.

Is your game going to be more like Airace compared to Flight simulator? What I mean is, do you intend to make a fun sub game or a realistic simulation?

Greg Cushing   (Oct 12, 2005 at 02:11 GMT)
I intend to actully make it fun. However a part of me wants to keep it realistic as possible. I havnt totally decided if its gonna be super easy to navigate your army's or if its going to 100% realistic. I think it will be a little bit of both with a little bit more fun mixed in. I dont want a game where it takes 1 week to get your sub across the atlantic blow your target up and get home. However i do of course want people to navigate using a sonar system.
