Blog post
After taking two weeks off from the game development (except for some code prototyping to see if a few new ideas would work) we are stepping back to the plate for another round of development on Switching Gears. During these two weeks we have discussed the shortcomings and strenghts of the game and I think (hope) we have been able to eliminate the weaknesses and build on the strenghts. The meeting in OR was quite an eyeopener and even though we got some nice comments, we also got some eyeopening and immensly valuable feedback.

We have setup a list of both programming tasks and art tasks for us to complete and we hope to have the whole thing done to beta status around march / april / spring sometime. I can't wait to be able to get Switching Gears into the communities hands to get feedback and see what you guys and gals think of it.

Anywayyy... I guess this isn't so much a "hey, look at this cool feature!" as much as it's a way to let people know we are still working on Switching Gears and we look forward to getting it out to players hands soon.

I also found this really nice tutorial on eliminating texture seams using pshop and 3dsMax:
