Newbie Torque Mac Developer. Tools for the Mac. Flight Sim hopeful.
I just got torque about a month ago and as every one says it a big learning curve. The first thing I noticed is no joystick support for the Mac in version 1.3. I have just completed converting over my Objective C joystick code, from another project I did, to C++ and incorprating it into the TGE. I plan to convert my force feedback classes over the holidays. I submitted a resource with a link to a tool I wrote that displays the features of a joystick for Mac OS X, it also lets you test the joystick including its force feedback capabilities.
I have also been working on a tool to create DTS objects on Mac OS X. It is modeled after the Milkshape program and is about 70% complete. Its not as complex as some of the other modelers out their, but it does what I need it to do. I hope to complete it early next year.
This is all leading to my goal of creating a flight sim using the TGE. Over this next couple of months I will be creating some incremental projects to get closer to that goal. I would be happy to share info with anyone who is interested. This first project is going to be an R/C airplane sim. I don't think that there is anything like it on the Mac yet.

Raymond, I'd be interested in co-ordinating with you to get your improved joystick code into HEAD for the Mac. Please send me an e-mail at beng@garagegames.com! :)
