Blog post
Over a year ago, I did a GID called Joystick Johnny, where I used a prototyped framework to build 24 minigames in 24 hours. Well, for the past few months I've been developing it into a full game for commercial release.

During development, I have been using the same 15 minigames, which I'm getting really sick of playing. =) So I figured it was time to make some more, and the best way to eventually reach my goal of 60 minigames was to do another "24GI24H" GID this weekend, just like the first time.

Well, here they are. Some are "remakes" from the original GID, but were redone for the new framework. They took 20-40 minutes each. I still need to put about 60-90 minutes into each one before the final game, which includes designing the marquee and cabinet, but these are all playable right now.

In order of the screenshots:

Nazi Castle
Soda Jerk
Das Boat
Tank Attack
Olympic Gold
Dungeons & Draculas
1492
Cattlezone
Shooting Gallery
Mountain Climber
Marble Blaster
Nuclear Defense
Castle Keep 'Em Out
Dogfight
Unstoppable Action Hero
Galagax
Joustriches
Paper Route
Safari Tycoon: Africa Adventure
O-Type
Turtillery Duel
Goooooal!
The Last Cowboy
Circuit Breaker

As I mentioned before, there are 15 other games, but I don't have screenshots of those yet. When I add in functionality for mazes and platformers, I might do one more 24GI24H to finish the rest.
