Maxim, Except for the lack of colour I think your already there...

You probably already know what a colour wheel is but on the offchance you don't have a look at one online.
They are good as a guide (not rulebook, just a guide) for using colours.

Ahhh ok ..cool.. so You are already there.

start showing all this work around the internet more I'm sure you'd be swamped with contract work. Your models always turn out nice, I've wanted to try one of those tablets for so long.

What size wacom did you pick up? The art is very nice. Hopefully I can get there one day...

Maxim, are you doing all the art on the tablet, or doing a pencil and paper first, then tracing with the tablet? The work looks amazing ... I'm not artist, but I like to sketch from time to time ... and I've been wondering whether a tablet would be a good thing for me, I've been experimenting with Anime Studio and Manga Studio ... as a possible way to do quick prototype animations for my 2D game concepts ... *shrug* ... I might have to put some more thought into it ... pick one up with my next set of free cash ... :)

thanks, but there is huge amount of guys like me on the internet ;) so 1-2 contrcats is enough to me to start

See my previous .plan - "wacom powered" ;)

I use both techniques to draw... either is good for me

Maxim comes with an A++ rating - we couldnt be happier with the work he has done for us over the past few weeks/months. So if you need any work done, get in there quick else he will be too busy! :) Take a ticket!

hi , nice drawings

Did you made those directly on your wacom , (i find it hard to do but I probbly need more pratice ) And what software did you use . Photoshop ?

love your style , want more :D

Another question : Did you draw those out of your mind or used model sketches/photos ?

tnx in advance

For all you Wacom sketchers out there, if you haven't tried it, I highly recommend Autodesk Sketchbook Pro. I've drawn using Photoshop, Manga Studio, GIMP, etc, but nothing feels like drawing on paper as much as Sketchbook.

The trial is the full version of the software, and though I licensed it a long time ago, back then, even after the trial expired, the software was still mostly functional and perfect for sketching. You just lost some of the premium features like layering. Hopefully it's still the same deal.
