Open Source SRD 3.5 Implementation
Hooray!!!
We have released a Test Application for our SRD 3.5 core rules implementation! Information and a download link is available HERE!!!
NEW: The source code (hundreds of hours of my work and prototyping) is free to use under the terms of the BSD license. This means that it can be used with Torque. See this thread...
Help!!!
We need help with our Open Source games, technology, and flagship product Minions of Mirth!!!
Do you want to work with others on fun RPG games and technology? We are very interested in working with hobbiest developers on our games and technology. We also have many contract opportunities for experienced game developers.
We are always looking for the help of creative and talented individuals. If you have 3d models, 3d level maps, music, sound effects, textures, etc. that you wish to sell, license, or create for Prairie Games please contact: careers@prairiegames.com

Josh, your enthusiasm is always infectious.
What are you scripting your game in? Python?

I try.
The SRD implementation is written entirely in Python. Scripting is achieved with Python as well...

One thing to be careful of is you cannot include character generation or management under the D20 license. Be careful, wizards are absolutely evil when it comes to copyright and sueing people. Get their permission in writing because they will sue you if you sneeze in the wrong direction.

We are using the OGL and not the D20 license... Have a look at the SRD Software FAQ... specifically:
Quote:
Q: So I could make a game?
A: Sure. Remember though, you cannot use any Product Identity with the OGL or claim compatibility with anything. So you can't say your game is a d20 System game or uses D&D rules or call it Elminster's Undermountain Crawl.
We only claim to be compatible with the Third Edition of the world's most popular tabletop role-playing game ;)
