Hootie's Back! New Project, Etc.
Hootie
Some of you may remember me from the old Genesis/Destiny3D days. Due to real life issues, finances and other things I dropped from sight for a few years after handing things off the the boys at Novus Delta.
I'm back now, sorta. There a many familiar names floating around here on GG so to those that remember me - Hi again!
New Project
I'm starting a new project using the Torque engine I purchased way back when. It has no name and is nothing like anything I have talked about in the past. It's a multiplayer, online, scalable subscription game geared towards adults moreso than kids. I'm not prepared to go into details at this time other than to say it's a mix of themes from some of my favorite anime shows and some popular games with a unique gameplay mechanic.
I'll avoid calling it an MMO because that conjures thoughts of EQ, WoW and other massive games that are well out of reach of small indie people. Maybe a good term would be Micro Multiplayer Online as I would be wildly pleased if ~1000 people eventually subscribed.
Anyway, I'll release more details as things get further along. It's nice to be back doing something I like to do. :-)
