The first video is a Shaded Planet Vehicle Test.
This is a simple video of me playing around on the new terrain with the LCAT.
Changed the player to "Fluffy"/Space Orc or what ever Kork's TGEA counterparts name is. Seemed more appropriate. Still working on the player models for the game.
The frame rate on the Second one was a real problem. It averaged about 15 FPS as compared to the solid 30 FPS for the Unique terrain test from before. Not sure if its a rendering problem or my PC. My PC has been running slow lately for all types of apps.
It is the same camera path from before but the terrain has been rotated some for visual reasons and thats why it doesn't look exactly like the first test.
I will post a link to the Hi-res versions later.
As of the time of this post I am aware that the first video appears to not be ready but Google Video says its a go and it usually takes a little while for it to become valid.

This is just so peaceful to watch. Good music selection.
I was watching the 10 minute video and I got to thinking. I will never be able to glide across another planet in my life if the world keeps fighting with itself. However, if someone were to make a game like that where you can explore other planets, maybe people will realize that this stuff is possible if we stop fighting each other. It made me very hopeful just watching that video.
Is it possible to feed data for say Mars into your engine? Could you imagine a game where you could skim the entire surface of Mars?!
Thanks for sharing.
