"An evil tone-deaf genius has stolen all of the good music in the world and replaced it with emo, pop, and RAP! Now the effects of listening to the music is making the planet's population go tone-deaf and do cheesy things such as attempt walking while dancing the robot, something most of them are now unable to actually do.

So now it is up to Guitarist Joe to save the world by restoring rock to the world. Using his awesome electrical guitar and super cool music skills Joe must find a way to stop this insanity before the evil genius's plan for world-domination is complete.

The game is a 3D Platformer. Combat involves Joe whacking badies with his guitar, blasting sound at them, area attacks, and possibly more. Our goal is to create a fun game filled with humor."

This was the start of help wanted post I posted on gamedev.net back in 2004, when the project was first being thought about. Unfortunately my lack of funds to pay the team forced us to eventually abandon the project for projects that would actually pay us.

Fast forward to 2007 and the desire to create this crazy game is still lurking in the back of my mind but now I have a steady job, unrelated to game development, to fund the development and XNA is giving unheard of chances to indies. So with further ado,

Guitarist Joe Needs You!
-Interface Artists
-Modelers
-Animators
-Concept Artists
-Sound Effect Guys
-Music Guys

And most importantly
-Indie Bands

That's right! Why make an indie game making fun of many different genres of music without letting our brothers from the music industry join in the fun. In addition to many, many, bands needed for badies and bosses we need one awesome rock band to be the "Super Cool Rockstars", the heroes of our game.

To Apply
Send your portfolio and desired position to BenV@brainfluidgames.com. Note that I only have limited funds available for the project at any one time, so even if I don't choose you initially I may be able to add you to the team at a later date when more funds are available.

Edit: To clarify these are paid positions, however, I can only afford a certain number of staff at a time so I will likely pay on a piece for piece basis or something similar.

Note: I probably should say that we are no longer using the A6 engine and have instead moved to an XNA based engine that we have been using internally for the past month or two.

Also the graphics desired are of a cartoonish style not unlike Ratchet and Clank or the first Jak and Daxter.
