My first Game in a Day submission.. may not have been my own idea.. and was blatently stolen from another GID... from this round... but thats ok, it was fun. It's not my fault im dumb.
ANDROID STEVE
Well, this was my first Game in a Day. I was really looking forward to participating but it got closer and closer and I just didn't get any ideas, so I decided to just hang out in the room and see what others were doing. The one project that really jumped out at me was Wiz's... it was just a very simple puzzle game... and I liked it, so I asked him if I could just have something to do by cloning his game and he said it was fine, so I went off to work.
I decided to speed things up a little by doing it in VB with DirectX 7 and, 8 hours later I had a working game, 2 levels, and a nice level editor.
Here's some screenies:
Info Screen:

Level1:
(Notice the path, the borders are all generated in code so that the level creator doesn't have to worry about that and just places a simple path.)

Level Editor:

MattF was nice and allowed me to host it on his site, currently theres only 2 levels though, but the editor is quite simple and you can go and make your own and if anyone creates any they'd like to share just e-mail them to me at dajackel(at)gmail.com and I'll bug matt to see if he'll add them to the zip.
Download Game
Thanks! Any comments would be appreciated.
