TGE Bloom
I have been playing with post filters the last 2 days because I also want some cheesy fake hdr bloom effect in my pet project. Here is what I got so far:
0 passes (the reference)
4 passes
8 passes
16 passes
32 passes
256 passes
It has been implemented as a gui control so one can control the screen area it affects and the number of passes via script.
I am right now bored with this particular shader and am looking into other effects such as b&w (great for death sequence), infrared etc.
This is all done with the cg toolkit so it adds little to no overhead to overall fps on my Geforce 5200.
Cheers
PS: I forgot to say that this is TGE on Mac.

Stephane: You can download the Cg-Toolkit from developer.nvidia.com and add that ti your project. It's actually quite easy to use.
