Yes! We like them a lot. They're great seen paused 0.1 seconds after they go off (Darkwind is a turn based game, so you can spin the camera around and enjoy them).

In particular, the dirt explosion blasts rock. Er.. literally..

But also the metal-hit and generic explosions are very cool..

This last one is just plain gratuitous. Hey, that's what particle effects are all about, non?

Darkwind: War on Wheels is a turn-based car combat MMORPG set in a post-apocalyptic near future (it is currently the year 2062 in-game). We're currently in open alpha so feel free to drop in! Windows, Linux, and OSX clients are supported.

Great shots Sam!
Great Fx pack too! 8-)

This explosion pack as greatly improved Darkwind: War on wheels, graphical side. I was voiceless the first time I saw those explosions in action. Great job, Adam.

This FX Pack, is this Games Extract : FX Pack #1?

@Christian: yes it is. Explosions have been resized to match Darkwind's gameplay: they are a bit larger than they should.
It has added a real depth the game's graphics without too mych pain as it was ready to go.

Cool then I will use it for my racing game, too.
