Blog post
Hi again everybody:

It has been a lot of time without any news from me, since I was involved in a job not related with games at all. But now I am back and ready again :)

Last month I updated a lot of things. First, I updated to a new IntelMac so I am now the happy owner of both a good Mac ystem and a good PC system. Got the two development enviroments configured and fully working in a couple of days, and now I have no more software excuses: I have all I would need to work comfortabilly.

Second, I finally updated my site with some new 3d work and also with all the 2D works it was lacking since I opened it. And a new design wich will allow me to update it more often:

I also "updated" my toolset, and finally got TSE (currently known as TAT), now that I can play also in Windoze... just awesome! I also got Quark up and running, and I am trying out DeleD and Shaper, both very atractive tools.

And here you have the picture you are waitting for in any blog:

And the corresponding movie with a new character I am thinking in releasing as a pack, so kork will not be so alone in your games ;)

I have more news related with several jobs I am working on right now, but I cannot say nothing yet (you know NDAs). But stay tunned, there is a lot of activity around TGE out there...

Finally, I want to thank you one more time to all the wonderfull GG comunity, for your work and your kind support. Keep them coming, folks ;)

Regards,
Gustavo Munioz

Gus you are the most talented Character Modeler I know. And just to think you do this all in blender. All I can say is WOW.

Dreamer

Looks great! She'd be perfect with some military fatigues and a floppy camo hat.

whats her polycount?

Give her some clothes, people don't walk around in their underwear.

keep her in the underwear and give her longer hair. maybe a "hair brushing in front of the mirror" animation

Seriously, nice character

She needs pants, or atleast a pair of short shorts. I've looked at your site, and you have some really great talent. I just really think underwear isn't the way to go, it's kind of random and to be honest I don't think she looks that great in it. I like the hair the way it is though.

Man, I would not want to run into that chick in real life. Walking around with those riding up... it doesn't make for a pleasant disposition... or so I hear... wouldn't want to get caught oggling her. I heard that there was this chick who dressed in those who was walking around downtown here and a guy was looking at her... she pulled a car toll thing up right out of the sidewalk and impaled him with it and then quipted 'now people can stare at you while you have something rammed up your...'. Yeah. It's crazy. A crazy crazy world where guys are stupid enough to stare at a chick dressed like that.

Thank you everybody. The model counts 2400 tris right now, and uses a single 512x512 skin. But looking at your first reactions here, maybe I will need to include some more dressing for her... :)

Anton: I see my character inspires you a lot of conntradictory thoughs... lol.
She is sort of an heroin from the future, so she has no complex at all. You can stare at her, she dont mind ;)

I like the 1D on your page. I take your point ;-) Actually I don't know what I'm saying...

The only thing I know of with only 1D is Speech, verbal comunication. This is the place I will fill with my texts, but I haven

Walking animation looks pretty realistic, nice.

I second Dreamer's comments. I'm one of the people Gustavo is working with on projects still under wraps/NDAs. Stay tuned for more of his extrodinary work!

Thanks Gustavo
