Blog post
"Once upon a time there lived a simply man whose dream was to become a game developer. Living a simple life he was one day granted an audience in the realm of Developertania and his life changed ever since. From that day forth he vowed he would become a citizen of that wonderous place. This is his story.. code zero to code hero."

Anyone interested in the zero to hero experiment I'm putting myself through might find this intersting.

Nice read on your blog Devon. Its a pity you had such a bad time at Uni, because you'd have had a blast at mine! :)

Thanks Phil,
I wish I had attended your Uni too, didn't feel appreciated at all at mine. Lecturers were short sighted and didn't see the grand vision.

Good stuff Devon. I'm not completely finished reading your blog, but I found your comments on "Inside DirectX" amusing because I felt the same when I bought that book.

Thanks for your support all.

@Doug: haha yeah, I thought a book comming directly from the source (Microsoft) themselves would be a great book to learn about Direct X. I got soo confused though, it was like you do this and this and this is, here is the code but never explained how the pieces fell together
