Fun device time!
My plans have changed a small bit. I've learned quite a bit about Torque in the past month or so. I was working on a racing shooter game ala Mario Kart. You can see some of the results of that learn in this resource.

But that got put on hold. I'm working on a small short project involving this VR Glove.
I've learned alot about Torque's input/event system and about the action map. Which links the input to the scripts. Watch this little video To see
the glove in action.

Future plans are to improve the glove interface. Then complete the rest of the project I'm working. Finally, I'm going to get back to work on my game.

I've had some issues with map making. But I've found lots of pieces of info about dif files scattered all over the place which have been helping me out. I'm thinking about consolidating them all together in one page to help other people.

Anyways, that's all folks.

Hey, that's really cool. What are your plans with the glove? Are you going to take advantage of yaw/pitch/roll information, or is that as far as you want to go?

For the current project, I'm going to be using the bend information so the user can grab objects. I'm hoping to come up with a fun quick idea to use the glove to a fuller potential though.

Very cool. :) Let us know how the glove stuff evolves. And if you compile a list of mapping resources, that'd rock. Be sure to let me know if you do.

What would be interesting is interacting with this glove and something such as from the rigid shape resource :p pick up and throw a ball (sphere).

Bowling perhaps? :p
