So much has changed and this plan hasn't been updated. We are still here and running hotter than ever.
The plan here hasn't been updated in a long time.
The team has been re-formed to complete the project.
Phase 1: COMPLETE
Decide on an engine, the type of game that will be built and aquire propper licensing.
Phase 2: COMPLETE
Build the engine, network architecture, core features that will be used in game and verify that the engine is stable.
Phase 3: 90%
Organize a team to utilize the game architecture and create a business model around it to form a company, work environment, needed resources/tools and a public presence.
Phase 4: 30%
Complete and document a public functional feature demo and deploy for public network beta test.
Phase 5: PENDING
Work out performance issues, bugs, take input from beta testers and generate a "buzz" on the internet and other media.
Phase 6: PENDING
Decide on whether to sell the company/game if investors are interested or aquire investors to expand into the public sector.
Phase 7: PENDING
Get stinking rich, buy and wreck a few rides, get all the wants and needs out of our evil little hearts because we are going back to phase 4!
The plan here will not be updated again until a video or beta is available online.
We have our own project management system and also do not wish to attract negative attention from developers who think an MMORPGFPS is impossible to complete as an indie team.
The little info that we release will be available at www.brokeassgames.com.
