Short story: found a cool indie game today and contacted the developer to see if they were interested in publishing non-exclusively in our game store (and at the best royalty rate in the industry at 50% why wouldn't they </plug>). Anyway he responded affirmatively right away, then said he heard that word on the street was that we were hiring, but he didn't know the specifics. I thought it was pretty cool that a developer would be interested not only in publishing their game with us but working for us, but of course why wouldn't they want to do both?

Anyway, I thought fit to remind folks that we're looking for people in marketing, web dev, and engineering, and Brett has all the details at his recent blog here, so do check it out if you missed it the first time around:

I wish I had any of the skills necessary to work at Garage Games. What a dream job...

How do I apply for CEO? ;)

@jonathon - You must fight Josh Williams to the death, using only a plastic spoon for a weapon, while climbing the side of a cliff - sans climbing gear. Good luck!

protip: don't drop your spoon midway up the cliff :(

that seems a bit unfair to Josh.. after all I know the truth.. "there is no spoon"

(if you can't figure out where that quote came from, then I have a colt you can borrow =P)
