I'm a newbie to Torque programming, so my plan for the weekend is to read the fine book written by Kenneth C. Finney to begin my adventure with Torque. I've had a game idea floating around in my head since I started playing around with computers(a long time ago). I finally found a game engine that a newbie Indie can use to develop his ideas. Also, the school I work at is using Torque in a gaming course, so I'm also involved with helping the instructor.

Wow that's very cool ... what school is it that's using Torque?

In addition to Bruce's School, and others, the school I'm teaching at now: the Art Institute of Toronto is using Torque in our Game Art & Design program. I'm teaching GAD201, GAD203, GAD213 & GAD223. We don't have a game programming stream there yet: working on it...coming soon(tm)
