Blog post
The aftermath of the TGB boot camp left my brain energized. I learned how to use TGB network calls and wanted to put together an example that would show the basics of TGB networking for the community. I ended up cleaning up the scripts and commenting the main points last night. It is less than 50 lines of script (if you dont count the comments) and it is basically a hello network app. You should be able to create your own server and client calls by studying whats happening. The comments give tips on how the 'commandToServer' and 'commandToClient' calls are used as well.

You can download the example in the Hello network forum thread

Hope this helps the community learn TGB networking...

How does one go about doing a bootcamp?? Is it solely for TGB or is it offered for TGE as well?

If at all possible I highly recommend going to the garage and taking the class. I would suggest you be somewhat familiar with TGB at least. I was able to get much more out of it after making Space Rocks with it.

Nice one Tom, this should come in handy for many TGB'ers (including moi!)

Ohhh... theres a Torque X boot camp now too! Soooo tempted to do that....

If at all possible I highly recommend going through the boot camp for anyone who wants to learn TGB. *Disclaimer* I was a bit familiar with how TGB worked and I recommend going through a few of the tutorials before this since Stephen goes in depth about the engine.
