So it's been a while....
I've got to get use to this plan posting.... too easy to lag behind!
Since my last one, I've had to take a hiatus from Torque to spin off a couple of mobile phone games. The first one is an interesting one. It's a bit of a third-person shooter, diablo style. It's multiplayer. It's real time. It will run only on 3G networks. Sadly, it is also a mockup. So it's actually a single player game pretending to be all the above. It was good enough, however, to clinch us the deal with Nokia, and they will now fund us to build the actual one. Sadly, I might not get to work on the actual one, as there are too many projects buzzing around. :(

Another game I made was for a local comics publisher. This is a simple move-the-cursor-and-poke-em-while-they-rush-at-you game. Let's you upload your highscores to a web page. In addition to this, I also wrote a comics engine, to distribute comic strips to mobile phones via GPRS. This will hopefully see some use by a few comic writing companies.

The next one to make on the list is a golf game. Can't say much about it now, but there are a number of novel features we aim to put into it.
Also, we have a PC game in the pipeline. A series of environmental sim games made to be distributed via schools. This was commisioned to us by an international enviromentalist group. I put up this ad for artists some time back, and there's a lot of talent here. To all those who responded, hold tight guys, It's likely to begin in Feb.
On the personal side, I've lately had the chance to dabble in Torque again. This time on the art side, messing a bit with both Milkshape and Quark with varying degrees of success. Still to decide on what to make. May just wait for the eco project above to get going.
I've also had a bit of time to work on my website www.e-goh.com which is far from complete, and frankly seems to look a bit boring at the moment. Need a bit of inspiration to get that one going again. May just have to redo the whole thing one day.
Well that's it for now. Meanwhile, Merry Christmas everybody. And may we all find heaps of Content Packs under the tree this year! ;)
