During last months, our small group of developers have been wondering if yes or no, we would like to sign for MyDreamRPG one-year game contest. In fact after some discussion it has been decided that it may be a good opportunities to drive our development and put some positive pressure on one of our project.
So here is for your presentation a project that was in discussion between few of us, and that will become now public. We choose our Pelorea project as it was in early design phase and then compliant with MyDreamRPG rules.
Synopsis
Pelorea: Tactical War is a tactical RPG game giving players fate of one of Pelorea's hero. As a hero of Pelorea, you will have to protect your tribes and to develop it. A key feature of Pelorea: Tactical War is that the game is playable through a card system used for all game actions.
Urdanal is our Universe and is made of several worlds that are generically called Dwelling. Each Dwelling is defined by a unique combination of the four Essential Forces that are originated from the four Primordial Dwellings, from which they are named: Ylem, Tindos, Nerthuit and Niphel. Pelorea is the Dwelling where the Essential Forces balance each others.
Technology
Pelorea: Tactical War will use Torque Game Engine technology, with persistent player status tracked on our game server (player hero stats & inventory, player card deck, player stats).
Call for help
Our current team is currently lacking 2D / 3D artist. We are then looking for those profiles. If you are interesting, please feel free to send me an email with one of your previous work. No fix remuneration will be provided, however royaltie scheme is put in place for profit generated with this game.
Team Management
Our team (chinese & french up to now) is managed through tools put in place on our webserver and available at this website: www.indie-zone.com.
Misc infos
Current team members: Frank Bignone, Thierry Fehrenbach, Laurent Pavet, Jenny Shan
Website: pelorea.darkhand-studio.com

I'm pretty sure it's a good exercise too put more effort on a project. As you said, pressure can be positive sometimes.
