Fundemic...
14th December, I finally got my incorporation certificate for Fundemic. Although this was not something I was exactly planning on doing so early, it was necessary to do so as it was bought to my attention that a media company intended to change there name to fundemic. So kindly my brother stepped in, to finance the incorporation as to protect the name. On the flip side it means that a lot of my time has been taken with administration work. However as always I still managed to fit some actual game development things in.

2D - quite fun actually...
I have been playing around with TGB for the past week, and my imagination is really bubbling with many ideas for 2d games. To be absolutely honest, I have shyed away from TGB for a long time, as I didn't really see the point, as far as I was concerned 2d was old, and for Tertis clones, how very narrow minded of me. I have had loads of fun following the tutorials, and have nailed down one game concept I really want to work with for a while. I don't want to say to much about it just yet, but rest assured as soon as we have something resembling a prototype, all will be reveled.

3D - Nightmare...
Having spent weeks trying to figure out the UV editor in Maya, I think I finally worked it out. It took some help from a friend, but I think I got there in the end.

OK its a textured cube, and to be honest not a pretty textured cube, but hey you have to start somewhere right?

Other...
I promised Tom Feni that this .plan wouldn't pass without a mention of Toby. For those who know just play along, for those that don't, download the early demo www.greatgamesexperiment.com/group/TobyFans/. It has a long way to go, but for some reason I'm liking it. Maybe its the Die Hard old school SEGA fan in me, i'm not sure.

I have also got into the Great Games Experiment. I was a little dubious as to the usefulness of GGE at first. However I'm starting to see where I could use it to my advantage. I'm thinking of using it as a central hub of all my on line presences, portfolio, website, GG, blogs, games etc etc. If i meet someone either in IRC or in a forum, I can link them to my GGE profile, and instantly they will be able to see who i am and what I am about.

Until next time have fun and stay safe. Its Christmas :P
