Quick plan about project
Just a quick plan with a couple pics from my teams college final project...

(btw here is another plan posted by a Torque 101er Geoffrey Ritter )

I'm hard at work on the scripting/programming end of the project, though our goal is to modify the Torque source as little as possible considering our extreme time constraints. I pulled a 5 hour sleep weekend (as well as some others in the team) and we're hammering through as much as possible. Right now I've been tweaking the AI, I'm using the new (and very awesome) A*pathfinding resource for all our pathfinding needs, this was a lifesaver since I was going to have to work up my own path finding solution in 2-3 days lol. Right now I am tweaking the AI some more, finalizing some flocking scripts as well as scripting the rest of the gameplay itself... we should have a pre-Alpha demo up by the Thursday :) This is our fifth week of development.

Some pictures of one of our characters that our very talented modeler/animator is doing :)

Sweet. If you can be sure to get some movies up of your AI running around. That is of course when your schedule slows down. I'd love to see it in action. Good Luck.

BTW what modelling program is your guy using?

Max 7 :)

I'll try and get a vid up soon, lol I had some very entertaining experiments with AI... I set them to go after the player when they were in LoS and stay a specified distance away (which I set in "templates" that can be associated with AI's), so they run to the player and stay that distance away, well when I charge them they run backwards trying to maintain the distance, with a group of 10 it was quite funny to see them all follow me (I took out their weapons for testing purposes or I'd be dead lol) and then run straight at them and see them scatter...

@Burning: Yup, have to get it done by tomorrow so today (after work) I'll be working on it until I get done, might be in class doing that until late tonight.
