Looking great! Can't wait to get my hands on this.
beautiful!
volumetric fog?
Ok, you're hype is working, im hyped!
It really is amazing what the difference between the old interiors and the new is making.
Some one has been busy :O)
Nice stuff, can't wait to get my latest content pack up and running in it.
Love the new interiors. And that's a pretty halo...
Wow, this is awesome, just awesome. I'm actually stoked to do a port from 1.3 ... you guys are making some great moves!
shots like these remind me of what TGE is capable of in capable hands. awesome atmosphere.
Those interiors are looking way hot, dudes.
Looks really good Tim...not looking forward to porting NvP, oh well gives me something to do while I wait for art.

That face I'm making is what I look like after I show Adam deGrandis what typography is.
"You see, this is called 'tie-in'"
Hey Tim, I think you forgot to set the animation for the grass
That is called "Tie-in" Todd ;)
Still have a bit of work to do on the demo. :)
Oh' ....hey I love that ground foliage where did you get it?!? :P
Any shader support? ;)

@Alexander
I seriously hope not. That kindof defeats the purpose of TGE, IMHO, running on less powerful systems. If you want shaders why not use TSE?
Will the 1.5 bug fixes also be rolled into their respective counterparts in TSE?

Wow, the overall feel of the engine seems to have been enhanced with the lighting integration and new enviromments. Definitely the best upgrade for the Torque Game Engine I have seen so far. I'm especially glad to hear that the waterblock bug caused by changing the terrain's square size was fixed. Great work guys.
This is a great teaser.
I've hosted the video on my site,
peppy games.
Nice,
those new lighting effects are amazing, the whole thing just looks more modern somehow.
I think the Halo is fantastic
Hey Timothy,
What are you using to create the interiors? Just constructor or anything else?

Great stuff Aste, the changes are definately noticeable in 1.5
Wow, these are unbelievable Tim!! These are some of the nicest shots I've ever seen. This is going to be a heck of a 2006 finale!
THANKS for the shots and video Tim... great looking stuff!!!

Ooooo... Aaaaaa
Good job guys, glad to see there is a lot more than bug fixes in there.
looks AWSOME!
@Marcus
TSE dont run on Intel 900/950, but Cg shaders can run there (and quite fast - tested! even bloom can be done on those cards with decent frame rate - done!), and Intel 900/950 is the majority in the casual world ;) thanks to Dell, HP and Gateway... Why not use shaders when you can to enhance the visuals? A lot of TLK/DRL code can be moved to shades thus again increasing performance ;)
And that will not defeat the perpose of TSE as a high profile engine, just give TGE a chance to show nice water and fast lightning on low-end shader cards. Anybody who wants Atlas terrain with really fancy shaders - welcome to TSE ;)

Do we have to pay extra to upgrade from 1.4 to 1.5?
Mike, yes a little. Check out the
Snapshot of the Day.
@Tim Aste
Looks great. if only they had more detail terrain textures. but you cant help that. But I do think its time for a new ORC. I think Kork needs to be amped up. or redone, for the TGE 1.5 release.
You can see the mirror glitch out in the video.
Looks great!
