Hello Garage gamers.

Plastic Games is proud to inform you that the Plastic Tweaker
has been tweaked!!

Since its initial release we had several minor issues, console spam, typos and the like which has since been resolved;

Officially the changes are as follows

- Added bitmap = "./tweakScroll" property added to TweakMenuDefault GuiProfile, fixing crash in TGEA Stronghold Game Project
- Removed exec("./tweakServer.cs"); from /plastic/init.cs, instead it is called in plastic/server/init.cs
- Removed exec("./ui/tweak/guiUtil.cs"); from tweakInit.cs this was a legacy file that is unneeded now
- Change references of BETA to DEMO
- Version number updated

If you don't know about the Plastic Tweaker yet, you should look into it. The Plastic Tweaker allows you to edit datablocks, and global variables in game without reloading the application.

One thing that is very important in tool development is good documentation. We here at Plastic Games spent a week over the summer posting docs on the Plastic Tweaker; the following lists and links to all the great Plastic Tweaker documentation already available to you the Torque developer. Most articles have plenty of working code examples as well as images and videos to show you how powerful this tool can be.

Plastic Gem 36 : Plastic Tweaker's comment convention
Plastic Gem 37 : Plastic Tweaker's support files

The retail version will allow you to save tweaks back to file. The time saving alone is worth the cost of the product.

I hope you enjoy it and be sure to check out other

The full benefit of using the Tweaker isn't truly obvious until you buy this product and use it.
If you haven't purchased Plastic Tweaker yet, What are you waiting for?.. This tool is a must, just like Torsion or ShowTool. Just buy it, you'll see the benefits and possibilities when you start using it.
Thanks guys. Great tool.

P.S. Any word on the step #5 enhancement section for the engine code ( enhancing the AFX version) ?

This still will not work for me the way it says in the Getting Started Guide. unable to find function pathCopy. Your not very clear in the install on what to do with this.. it's already in the version of tgea I have. Please help me get this working :)

@MB, yes the Path copyFunction is in TGEA but because of where it is placed in the file it does not get compiled in. The instruction indicate to put the function at the bottom of the file; right before the line ConsoleFunctionGroupEnd( FileSystem ); which is the last line in console\fileSystemFunctions.cpp

Tweaker Does not come with source files, if you purchase this program you will not be able to edit or modify this resource for your own engine.
