Plastic Gems: 35-39 Plastic Tweaker Recapped

If you have been watching the resource section this week you will have seen a slew of resources dedicated to the tool, the Plastic Tweaker. We have covered many aspects of the tool and have included several examples. As of last night I included several Viddler videos to show the tool in action.
As a recap I am going to add these videos to this blog with a brief description so that you may see the power and flexibility of the Plastic Tweaker in action.

Tweak PlayerData
Here we see how the Plastic Tweaker can dynamically change the value used for vertical thrust on a player's jets.

Tweak ParticleData
Plastic Tweaker can also change particle properties on the fly.

Tweak Profiles
GUI Profiles are usually very cumbersome and time consuming to adjust but the Plastic Tweaker allows you to change the values in game.

Theses videos just scratch the surface of what the Plastic Tweaker can do. Try it out, before you know it you will find the Plastic Tweaker is an indispensable tool for Torque development.

Anthony, the Tweaker has convinced me of its worth, the GUI features alone make it so, I'm going to try it out!

To anyone who hasn't tried out the Tweaker I highly suggest it. With just a few small lines of code you can tweak settings in your datablock with an easy to use GUI. This is a must have for designers.

@Anthony - Awesome videos!

Incredible useful tool, and also with infinite potential!

I've integrated it (1.5 hours from scratch) and got it running, immediately seeing its value over the coming crunch and tweak weekend! I really wish the GUI and profile tweaking was available now though!

I waited a few days to get around to playing with the Plastic Tweaker and I must say that it is an awesome utility. It takes but minutes to add it in, and with a little reading over the various tweaker resources to understand it completely, it certainly eases the process of tweaking just about everything.

The potential usefulness of this thing is staggering!
